Hollywood Bowl starts work on multi-million pound state-of-the-art entertainment centre in Cardiff

March 2026: Thrill seekers in Cardiff can look forward to some exciting action after Hollywood Bowl XL kicked off work on its newest multi-entertainment centre in the city. This is the first of its kind as the brand ventures into multi-entertainment centres.

Located in St David’s Cardiff in the heart of the city, the centre will offer customers a taste of modern LA when it opens its doors later this year. It will be the brand’s second site in the city alongside the popular Hollywood Bowl at the Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff Bay.

With work now underway on the two-floor new centre, it is set to feature 20 ten pin bowling lanes, interactive darts, electric go-karting and a live sports bar. This marks the first time the brand has added e-karting to one of its venues, adding a new layer of high-speed competition to the Hollywood Bowl XL experience.

The centre will also create up over 50 new local jobs offering residents the opportunity to benefit from Hollywood Bowl’s brilliant training and development programmes, opening the door to exciting careers within the leisure and hospitality industry.

 Hollywood Bowl XL Cardiff St David’s is so much more than just bowling!
