Hollywood Bowl launches multi-million-pound Hollywood Bowl XL centre in Cardiff
- Hollywood Bowl unveils its first Hollywood Bowl XL site, a multi-million-pound state-of-the-art entertainment venue at St David's Centre in Cardiff
- Multiple leisure activities on offer including ten-pin bowling, interactive darts and electric go-karting

Monday 20 July 2026: Prepare to be bowled over as Hollywood Bowl officially opens its doors to the very first Hollywood Bowl XL site in Cardiff’s St David’s centre, following an exciting multi-million-pound investment.
The new bowling and family entertainment centre brings exciting, affordable and fun entertainment to Cardiff. The venue is redefining the multi-entertainment experience, boasting 20 sleek bowling lanes, each equipped with the latest in bowling technology, including high-tech scoring and the coveted leaderboards.
Split across two floors, the 45,000 square foot space also features interactive darts and electric go-karting – a first for Hollywood Bowl. The centre hosts an arcade packed with the latest games, and nostalgic classics, where guests carry on the competitive fun.
To celebrate the opening, Hollywood Bowl XL Cardiff St David's is hosting a launch party weekend on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July with free activities throughout the day including balloon art, face painting and more. Alongside this, the centre is also offering customers 2 games and a drink for £10 per person and 20% off all party packages as part of their grand opening offers*
