The Hollywood Bowl Group expands new leisure brand as Puttstars opens its second mini golf venue in Rochdale

Puttstars opens its second centre early August, offering mini golf with a unique and modern twist, thanks to three interactive and fun filled 9-hole courses which create the ultimate mini golf experience.  

Gone are the days of pencil and paper scoring – at Puttstars, scores are digitally calculated using high-tech screens at each hole. Scores are totted up as players make their way around the course and at the end of the game everyone is in with a chance of making it onto the daily leader board.

The £2.5 million, venue will offer a complete entertainment experience that is perfect for all ages and abilities. As well as mini golf, customers can also refuel by enjoying a great range of food and drinks, including pizzas, hotdogs, and tasty shakes, all available from the bar and diner. The centre also includes an impressive amusement area. 

This exciting new venue has created 25 new jobs, ranging from bar and reception team members through to managerial positions.

We are thrilled to be expanding our Puttstars brand by opening the second venue in Rochdale Councils Riverside development. Puttstars is a unique mini golf gaming experience for families and groups of friends to enjoy and we can’t wait to welcome the new customers to our latest venue.

With regards to safety, the centre will have extensive cleaning and social distancing measures in place. All games will be appropriately limited to control capacity, and amusement machines as well as bar and dining seating will be spaced out, with signage visible throughout the venue.

Guests are encouraged to pre-book their mini golf slot, and groups will be restricted to a maximum of six people. Customers will also be given the option of wearing disposable gloves. 

Upon entering the centre, customers will be expected to use hand sanitiser, which will be readily available at dispensers. Enhanced cleaning will take place throughout the day, including the cleaning of putters, balls, and touch screens in between games. 

Customers are now able to make bookings via the puttstars.co.uk, with mini golf slots being available from 7th August.
